I just informed Heather at Sundial Travel that Cannon Beach Book Company
will stay open until 9 every Tuesday that there is a cruise ship in town.
Also told her that I would bring bookmarks to hand out to her patrons.  Is
there a chance that anyone else would like to send things up to Liberty
Theater into the hands of their cruise host?  No need for EVERYONE to drive
up if we can collaborate.  Would you send this to "OUR" people and see if
they will put something together by the 11th, early in the day?

Message from Heather Meadows, Sundial Travel & Cruise

 

Hello Everyone,

 

As some of you may have heard, starting May 12, 2009 every Tuesday through

the end of June we will be getting a cruise ship in.  The arrival time of

these ships are 3:00pm - 10:00pm.  Mariner of the Seas has 3,114 passengers

and Carnival Splendor has 3,006 passengers.  We are looking at roughly

around 126-210 pax taking the Seaside Cannon Beach tour.  This is a 4 hour

tour and it's always the top Shore Excursion to be purchased on the ship.

What we are looking for is to find out what businesses will be open during

that time and if any are willing to stay open for when these ships come in

on Tuesday.  Please let me know something soon.  Thank you for all your

time.
