Loca at (107 N. Hemlock-for hand-delivery) PO Box 602 CB 97110. Make checks
payable to CB Chamber of Commerce-Haystack Holidays MM.
5. JimK Best SU yet, but Spring Unveiling at Icefire is typically no better
than other weekends. Chef's Table worked well. People who saw glass at EVOO
and Stephanie Inn went to Icefire to buy. RisleyW: Sales were good at Oregon
Gallery. People who were staying in Manzanita who came in did not know of
the event. This is common. GeorgeV: The heat wave was a distraction - even
though it drew people to the beach, it took away from the event. StephanieA:
Primary Elements only sold to repeat customers, not a bad thing, but always
looking for new customers during an event like Spring Unveiling. RyanH:
Dreams and Discoveries had good weekend. Since the store is so new, everyday
is a record. KathyK: Business was good at La Luna Loca. JohnB: Chorus had
full house for both weekend concerts.
6. GeorgeV: 25 Ferrari's graced 2nd Street Saturday from 1-5 pm. RyanH:
$2400 was raised from rides and donations for the Cannon Beach Children's
Center.
7. Lisa Sarish - former co-manager at Mo's says thanks to Cannon Beach for
the experience gained from the people and organizations such as the WMM and
the Chamber. Lisa now paints nudes, not of them, but on them. A book is in
the works. Each sitting is a collaboration between her (the painter), the
model and the photographer. Each donates their time and each share in the
rights to the images. More info at LKSart on Facebook.
8. MaryF: Handgun Safety Class at CCC Towler Room 207. Tuesday May 14,
7-950pm. Must preregister at www.clatsopcc.edu/register or call 503-338-2402

students at CBES. This marks the 10 year that George has done this. Prints
from the prior 9 years are on display at the school.
