1. Goonies 30th Anniversary - June 4-7. Behind-the-Scenes at Ecola State
Park Thursday June 4 at 6pm (Repeats Fri at 2p, Sat at 2p and Sun at 930a).
Followed on Thursday by Goonies Bonfire in Cannon Beach at 8pm at the Ocean
Lodge. The Truffle Shuffle 5K Run will also be in Cannon Beach on Sunday at
9am at the Tolovana Wayside. (volunteers needed for the run -
courtc at cannonbeach.org) Then on Sunday the Goonies film will be shown at
130p at Coaster Theatre. There are many events in Astoria - see
www.thegoondocks.org, www.facebook.com/gooniesday or
www.twitter.com/astoriagoonie. Tickets available at www.ticketswest.com or
at the Liberty Theater.

2. DebbieN: This year's Sandcastle Contest is Saturday June 20. The fun
begins on Friday the 19 with the parade and dinner. Line up for the parade
at 445p on 2nd Street next to the Chamber for the 530 pm start. The dinner
follows. This Saturday May 30, Coaster Construction will pull our
Sandcastle float in the Starlight Parade in Portland. Tune to Channel 12
for the live presentation. Our float is #22 in line. Volunteers are needed
for many of the Sandcastle weekend events. Contact

5. JimP: White Bird Gallery artist - Ken Grant's artwork for the 2015
Stormy Weather Arts Festival is in hand and will be included on flyers and
posters to be out for Sandcastle.

6. MargoD: As part of Haystack Holidays, the Trail Band will perform a
Holiday concert at the Coaster Theatre Dec 30th. Contact

underwrite any shortfall between income and expense on this concert.

Clatsop Paddle Company. She does paddel board rentals, lessons, guided

10. LauraK: Laura distributed "At Home" the Daily's Astorian's Summer 2015
real estate and home improvement guide. She also passed out copies of Coast
Weekend and will drop copies at the Chamber. 1500 Plein Air & More inserts
will go into the Gazette June 19th for Sandcastle - 500 into the Astorian
June 24 and 1000 will be distributed in Cannon Beach the week of the event.
