2. KatieS: Cannon Beach Salon (formerly Katie's Beach Salon) has expanded
into an additional space with *The Union Knot* - a full-service bridal
salon dedicated to the well being of women on their wedding day, as well as

3. GeorgeV: Tonight (Wed May 23) is the third meeting of the City of
Cannon Beach Budget Committee. A budget for FYE 30Jun2019 is being
prepared. New City Manager Bruce St Denis will present ideas to balance the
budget to the committee - composed of the 5 City Councilors and 5 community

4. LauraK: It's here! Memorial Day weekend - the traditional, national,
Summer kick-off weekend. As you may expect, things are happening in Cannon

5. LauraK: Become a Plot Buddy for the Sandcastle Contest. A Plot Buddy is
a company or individual who wants to host a sand plot and adopt that team.
50 Plot Buddies are for sale at $25 each. Included Company name on sand

6. LauraK: The Information Center is open 7 days a week from 10-5 and
starting in June from 9-6.

7. Neil Simon's "The Odd Couple" is playing May 4-27 at Coaster Theatre.

8. MelodieC: Melodie and Gary will host an Emergency Preparedness
neighborhood meeting in Tolovana in June. Date and time to come later.

9. JasonS: If you are available, would you please help our first responders
strengthen their skills by playing the part of a victim? Your help would be
greatly appreciated as it brings a realism to the drill that we can’t
provide without you. You’re welcome to bring family or friends. We'll
provide water, coffee and various treats. We're trying to bring the drill
to an exciting new level this month. We will have a Life Flight helicopter
at this drill!. It is this Sat, May 26th from 830am to around
noon. Location: CB Elementary. Wear OLD clothes as moulage can stain. If
you have torn pants or shirt please wear them. Regardless of weather, wear
