One of seven state-wide projects funded by the Oregon Travel Philanthropy Fund (OTPF)*, our coast region project will expand HRAP's educational outreach by increasing visitor awareness of their role within the ocean food web, especially as it pertains to the animals of Haystack Rock. Partnering with Monterey Bay Aquarium's "Seafood Watch" program, our project will empower visitors to make sustainable seafood choices and encourage patronage of local business partners who pledge to make sustainable seafood choices. Together, we'll support the healthy vitality of our visitors, community, and the ocean which sustains us all. To learn more, please feel free to join me next Wednesday May 22nd at City Hall for a 9:30am meeting with potential business partners and interested community members.
