 The City Council along with the City Manager, Attorney and Recorder 
spent Saturday setting goals and priorities. The session was led by 
former Clatsop Co and Warrenton manager and current Woodburn city 
manager - Scott Derickson. Most all items on the list created with be 
discussed in second Tuesday work sessions in the months ahead. Five of 
the identified goals are: 1. Develop a strategic plan w/ community 
participation. 2. Move forward with plans for development of South Wind 
(property east of highway above south entrance to CB). 3. When feasible,
 acquire additional property needed to protect watershed/open space. 4. 
Necus' (old school property) expansion and partnership. 5. Increase
