<div dir="ltr">From City Manager Bruce St Denis: <div><span style="font-size:12pt"><br></span></div><div><span style="font-size:12pt">I would like to provide a correction regarding the statement about public input into the new City Hall/Police Station (CH/PD) that were part of the notes from this morning’s [Wednesday Morning Meeting].</span><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12pt"><u></u> <u></u></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12pt">There will be an agenda item on the October 11<sup>th</sup><span class="gmail-Apple-converted-space"> </span>work session where the Council and architectural firm will talk about public input for the City Hall/Police Station project.<u></u><u></u></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12pt"><u></u> <u></u></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12pt;border:1pt none windowtext;padding:0in">It is our intent to create the same opportunities for both Council and public input on the CH/PD project as there was for CBE Rejuvenation. That process was very effective and well received.<u></u><u></u></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12pt;border:1pt none windowtext;padding:0in"><u></u> <u></u></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12pt;border:1pt none windowtext;padding:0in">The difference we are finding between the two is that there are no natural “prompts” to get people to talk and provide input about the City Hall/Police Department project. With the CBE Rejuvenation we had things like the site, classrooms, the gym, and the tribal history.
