This is such a great idea and works with the concept of treating visitors as
our guests. I had suggested to Paul that his sunny disposition and helpful
nature mandated cloning..as a bike officer.. this was his response .

Hi Joyce,
Well, cloning me would not be any problem at all. The criteria for cloning
might be;
1 - Gotta love Cannon Beach
2 - Gotta know where things are. ( bakery, candy store, restroom,
Haystack Rock, ocean, latte shop, warm outer layer, parking space, etc. etc.
3 - Gotta want to share and help people enjoy.
Sounds like almost everyone that currently lives and/or works in Cannon
Beach as we speak. Maybe we could organize a group of folks willing to
volunteer 1 - 2 hours a weekend during the busiest time of the day to put on
a vest and enjoy visiting with our guests. I think most folks would enjoy it
as much or more than I do.
Paul

If we could just clone you.. everything would be ok. My perception is that
YOU are the only one who directs the kids to the skate park. We have enough
bad pr right now to last a lifetime. Thanks

Thanks, Joyce.
I knew there was no "complaint" and that it was an issue that should be
dealt with. I thank you for your vote of support. I really enjoy
performing that job and look forward to it every summer.
See you on the streets.
Paul
