Discussion Items:

1.          Cannon Beach at Work creative writing classes start next week.
Three two hours classes offered evening and morning will result in
anthology and perhaps public speaking event. Contact Jon Broderick at
broderick507 at centurylink.net or 503.436.1039.

2.          Stormy Weather and Haystack Holiday cards available at
Chamber.  Tickets for Quickdraw and Curtis Salgado are available.

Business After Hours Oct 17th 5-7pm at Tolovanna Inn.

3.          Lots going on at Primary Elements during Stormy Weather weekend.

4.          Oregon North Coast Coalition has launched their 4th campaign in
two years.  This one is Beer 101 - 4 brewers got together and created a
brew to be named during campaign.  Two weekends of events surrounding beer
including talks by beer icons Lisa Morrison and John Foyston, food
pairings, bus tours, specials menus at 15 locations Oct 18-20 & 25-27. Drew
Carney of KGW will be broadcasting live from Cannon Beach’s Screw and Brew
Thursday Oct 17th at 5:15am, 5:45am, 6:25am and 6:45am.  Set your

5.          Women Only Weekend is gearing up for Nov 8-10.

6.          Leadership Round Table to start Oct 21st.  Will be held at NCFF
every other Monday from 6:30-8:00pm.  Soup will be provided!

7.         Second location for La Luna Loca in Astoria is open until 8pm on
Fridays until Christmas. Many other stores in downtown Astoria too.

8.          Mayor’s Cup Rugby match at Broadway field Saturday, Oct 19th at
1pm

9.          Film Festival in Astoria Oct 18-19.  http://www.goaiff.com/ for

10.      Surfsand  Dog Show this Weekend.

11.      Irish music Concert this evening Oct 16th at Hoffman Center in
Manzanita.  Tickets $10 each, beer service starts at 7, music at 7:30
