Reminder: Tomorrow is Wednesday and the WMM at 8am at Pizza a Fetta
(upstairs). Coffee is courtesy of Pizza a Fetta and Bella Espresso. Thank
you James!. Come a bit early to pick up your coffee downstairs at Bella.
Bring your own coffee cup.

Note1: Tonight is the regular monthly City Council Work Session at 530pm at
City Hall.

Note2: *Today is Tuesday and the Farmer's Market in Midtown (*Photos at
http://gvfa.smugmug.com/Events/CannonBeachFarmersMarket*)*.  The prepared
food and live music are open from 1-5pm and the vendors are open from 2-5pm.
However, many vendors are ready to sell at 1pm. The Market will continue on
Tuesday's through September 29th at the corner of  Hemlock and E. Gower in
the City Hall parking lot.

   - Spotlighting, Robert Richter, an energetic guitarist, singer
   and songwriter who creates music that blends folk to blues to rock to
   Celtic. His new CD, "Late Night Radio" will be available this Fall.
   - *Upper market cafe*: *Open from 1 - 5pm for your dining
   pleasure, featuring Ofalafel, **Casa **de Tamales* and *The Wine Shack.*
   - *Ron Stark *of *TbeeS* tells us that he guarantees his artisan honey
   products for three thousand years because jarred honey, discovered in Egypt
   that old is still good! "Honey is forever," he says!  Ron has 60 thousand
   bees in each hive and he has 300 hives. His new jars are unique bear
   shapes and come with a wooden honey dipper tied on with raffia. Great
   Christmas gifts!
   - *Jacobs Creamery* has a wide varity of handmade artisan cheeses in
   both the aged and fresh varieties. They hand produce european style dairy
   products including creme fraiche, fromage blanc and butter.
   - *Barb Knop *will be "gleaning" food items for *The Cannon Beach Food
   Pantry *at the end of every Market.  Thank you to her and the *generous
   vendors *who contribute to this program.
   - As usual, the spectacular *Cannon Beach Farmers Market Volunteers*
   will be there, doing what they do best!  Thank you is not enough, but *THANK

14. JohnB: The Cannon Beach Chorus and other groups used to have the
Elementaryy School gym for performances. Now that building sits idly
rotting with no heat or power while the School District attempts to sell
the property. We could really use that building to fill the void for a
venue for performances.

15. GeorgeV: Matt Rippee of the Oregon Parks and Recreation Dept has
informed us that the 11-acre, John Yeon Natural Site at Chapman Point,
although wholly owned by the State, is off limits to visitors. This natural
preserve restriction was part of the purchase agreement in 1995 but has not
been enforced till recently. The property is signed. Existing trails are
being filled in and planted over.

16. This year's Forestry Tour has been moved to October 8th due to the dry
conditions. Forestry comprises 30% of the economy of Clatsop County.
